program provides machine control for cyclic tests designed to measure
dynamic and static stiffness characteristics and endurance of springs,
spring aids, bushes and rubber products and similar materials. Endurance
tests can be carried out under either load or position control. Peak
and trough loads as well as peak and trough positions are plotted
in real time providing an early assessment of possible damage. Stiffness
tests can be initiated either automatically at regular intervals during
an endurance test or at any time by the user. Static stiffness tests
are carried out under constant ramp rate, monitoring load and displacement
values, while dynamic stiffness tests utilise sinewave. Endurance
and stiffness test results are stored for future reference, re-plotting
and recalculation of dynamic and static stiffness coefficients and
phase angles facilities are provided. |
