Provides
data acquisition and results analysis for tensile testing to meet
ASTM E8 or BS EN 10002-1. If the test machine is manually operated,
both the load and strain rates are displayed on screen providing visual
aid to comply with the standards. If the test machine has an external
input , then the program controls the crosshead rate in order to achieve
loading rates. Once the test is finished, modulus of elasticity, proof
stresses, upper and lower yield stresses where applicable, elongation
and reduction in area are calculated.
The results can be displayed either graphical form or text form. The
test data is stored for future analysis, enabling to calculate proof
stresses at different levels at a later date. The test data can also
be stored as a text file in order to use with spreadsheet program
facilities. |
